Between surface, line and sound
The work moves between painting, drawing and sound. What begins in one medium often continues in another: a line becomes movement, a surface becomes space, a sound becomes a structure that can be drawn again.
At its centre is not a fixed motif but a process – relations becoming visible. Figures, bodies and landscapes appear and dissolve back into surface. The material stays present throughout: paint, charcoal, pigment, paper, canvas.
Over the years this has produced groups of work that continue alongside each other rather than replacing one another. This site shows a selection – works from the studio in Cologne-Ehrenfeld, together with current and past exhibitions.
